You need to make sure she's awake and nursing. She needs to stay hydrated and it will help you produce more milk. If she seems lethargic you may need to take her back to the hospital you delivered at. I had to do that with my first born. Also keeping lights off at night might help her eventually learn that you sleep at nighttime and stay awake during the day. But for now, continue trying to wake her up. If she won't wake up and she's not latching you'll need to take her to the hospital. A lactation specialist* should be able to talk to you and make sure you know what a good latch looks and feels like.

It's very important a baby under a month eats every 2-3 hours.

My son was the same way. I tried stripping his off, lifting him up but he would just curl up. So I had pump when wouldn't wake up so that my boobs wouldn't hurt. I had a lot of milk stored. Do you have a pump it will be your best friend in times that the will not wake up?

Oh okay. I ordered my through my insurance already. Because I am being induced tomorrow at noon I am excited and nervous at the same time it has been 8 years since I had my son.
