is the epidural as bad as it sounds?

I've had 4 kids and got the epidural each time it's not as bad as it sounds it's well worth it actually

Mine hasn't bothered me from my first son. But it also wasn't effective for me because I waited too long and it wasn't a drip, lol.

my aunt got one with when she was pregnant with my cousin and she's suffers from really horrible back pains now. she was in pain for weeks after hers. she couldn't walk or move too much and she cried all the time because of the pain.

some people have good, and bad experiences with it. So it'd ultimately be up to you, and what you think is best for you.

it all depends on the person. with my experience with it after my first I've had back pain ever since and now my back pain it worse but I still plaan on getting it with this pregnancy because I have a very low tollerance of pain.

I had back pain 2 months after giving birth. but it went away I'm still getting an epidural for this second baby

I suffer from back pain specially when it's cold. sometimes it's just random this time I really think of going natural.

i had a bad experience with it during my birth and noe afterwards it has left my back sooo fucked up. i already have scoliosis and chronic back pain but now it's crippling, i haven't stood up straight since i had my baby 3 weeks ago. i wished i would have did it without it, i could have honestly, it would have been a lot better for me personally.

@tiffanigypsy8, omgoodness! I suffer a little bit of scoliosis, I do not want to experience that. now I really am thinking of just doing it naturally.

when you're in labor if you have time to wait and see if you want it i'd definitely advise you to. i didn't get much of a chance to wait since i was induced and rushed to get one before i felt any pain at all but i wish i could have see if i could have handled it.

I had it twice already and it doesn't bother me.
