my son is on soy and he's almost 1 and has had like 3 blow outs since birth. soy has stopped him up at times.

@lucasmomma, really? My son poops like 3-4 times a day. Sometimes I think it's diarrhea because it's so soft, but it isn't watery. His poop does smell BAD.

i would talk to your dr about it! my son only had extra soft poops when he was sick or when he was first born and they had him on gentle. my sons almost 1 and soy can stop you up because it has iron plus its a protein. thats how his dr explained it. @mombie2be

@lucasmomma, I took him 2 days ago and I mentioned his stool being soft and she didn't say anything about it. I mean it's not diarrhea but it is softer now than when he was on infant formuka

what infant formula was he on? @mombie2be

@lucasmomma, the enfamil one, but when he was in nicu they gave him the newborn one that was in liquid form

@mombie2be, i tried the enfamil premade formula and it made him loose but hes on gerber soy powder that you make and he is much better. he only goes like 1-2 times a day
