I had to lay on my back when I was feeding my son, I had too much milk, and that slowed him down.

I've heard mamas who Breast pump as well, get bottles that have smaller opening so baby doesn't get too much milk out while sucking, but that's for bottles, wouldn't know about breastfeeding

My son and daughter also did this.. I found that if I burped them more often it helped get rid of any gad bubbles that they might build up by gulping and there was alot less puking.
