Being a military wife is difficult. Having to deal with being apart from him for so long is so hard sometimes Iv been going through this with him for 5 years he has renlisted to do anther 4 so he'll have been in the marines for 12 years. I support him 100% and I got use to his job but now being pregnant I feel like as how I felt the beginning. New to everything. Like today I miss him like crazy I want to be with him I want to sleep with him wake up to him hug and talk to him I miss the smell of him every possible thing. And the closer it gets to my due date I'm getting scared cuz he might being be here and it sucks but it's his job he needs to do what he needs for his country and his family and I need to stay strong and supportive. I just miss him a lot right now :(. I can't wait for Thursday

u know how u feel I'm a marine wife and going through this deployment with our only baby . he deployed when he was a month old and baby is now 6 month he's supposed to come back sometime after our son turns 8 months

Soooo tough! I grew up in a military family. Although my husband is not military I remember my father being deployed all the time. My mother has passed on, but I appreciate everything she did holding it together while he was away. Thank you ladies for what you do. You are the strong women behind the men protecting our country, and I am truly grateful!

I am a military wife and mom. It's not easy but I can't even imagine my husband being deployed while I'm pregnant. We have about another year before his deployment window starts again. Keep your head up momma you got this. Military wives and moms are a different breed. I was at the commissary the other day and there was a lady that I just wanted to hug. She looked like she was about to break down. She had three young children (maybe 3-8) and a newborn. I got to talking to her because I kept getting in her way. Her husband was deployed and that was her daily life. I'm not looking forward to that at all but it's the sacrifice we make. Stay strong.
