Thank*!you for being weird, if that's considered weird. I think it's an awesome choice. I was induced with my first on my due date and they wanted to induce me a week early and I told them to F off. My son only weighted 5lbs 11oz at full term so idk how much he would have weighed if I had been induced early. I hope you have a healthy, full term pregnancy =]

I didn't have to be induced with my first and I loved my labor experience. I know it's miserable to be 40+ weeks but holding onto my healthy baby was so worth it. Our bodies are more capable than we give them credit for.

I hopefully still have 20 weeks or so left. I just want to get to a least 37 weeks but would love those extra couple of weeks for perfection 😊

I hope to go into labor naturally, at full term, but I'm only 30 weeks and I'm already getting a bit miserable. I hope I don't change my mind, but it could happen. good luck to you!

I feel the same. But the reason they induce after 40 weeks you is because baby can have their first bowel movement at that point called meconium in the womb and since they use amniotic fluid for breathing the meconium can get in their lungs and can cause life threatening infections. Most moms likely won't make it to 42 weeks without going into labor but some do. So in many cases that would qualify as a medical emergency. But that being said I feel that in my case, I want an induction pushed back as far as possible.

They won't allow you to not be induced if you don't go on your own. they don't want you to as it can harm baby I'm due the 11th and my doctor has set my induction 4 days before my baby shower and my birthday!?! I'm hoping he comes on his own
