I think if you have a plan and don't give up your education, it's ok. My sister had her first at 14 and quit school, now she's 23 and struggling every day 👎

@jonasmomma16, I agree with you. they just have no clue what they are in for. accidents happen but on purpose? Um no.

Everyone of these 16 year old girls rely on their parents insurance or government to have their babies and legally can't work yet. except McDonald's etc. I'm just saying that's not ready. and that's not a very reliable plan. @babes87101116 @briit_ann

I wouldn't flip on them but I totally agree with your reasoning. It's too stressful for us adults let alone a teenager who still depends on their parents. It's tough.😩

I wasn't 16 with my first baby but I was 18, and I wasn't ready either I also wasn't planning on having a baby young either but I look back and how I struggled for awhile you're right their parents will be the ones supporting them. All though I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, I do agree with you.

I was freshly 19 with my oldest . and it was definitely hard. I live in a factory , busting ass for my kids. and that's probably my whole life. but we have food on the table and a roof and they're spoiled so I wouldn't have it any other way, but it grinds my gears so bad that these girls wanna rely on someone to support them while they place house. idc what anyone says. but when I was 16 and "in love" I tried to get his class ring not pregnant. @kaylareese26

I don't think it's your place to judge, it's not your kid, and it's not your problem

when they come to you and tell you that, or post on social media about it. it becomes an open problem and they're wanting judgement. if they didn't, they wouldn't have asked :) @mrshamilton830

I'm 19 and pregnant and it's already hard without having my baby yet, Only because I'm having sooo many problems with this pregnancy and I'm high risk and on bed rest and had to quit my job.. Luckily I was blessed with a very hard working loving man with a good job to take care of us. Accidental pregnancies at a young age, I undertand, but I agree that any teenager trying to conceive needs a good knock in the head. My little sister is 15 and has been sleeping around, so I talked to my mom and we decided that it would be a great idea for her to be in the delivery room with me to see how hard labor is so maybe she will straighten up.

@babyhorton16, OMG..... 15?!?!?! holy hell ! and yes. thank you! I had pre - eclampsia with both my previous and I'm currently on bed rest due to swelling and blood pressure. if it wasn't for my hubby, life would definitely suck! lol good job momma!

I'm not like saying you can't have your own opinion, i think your right. But in other instances, you're wrong. I am doing great right now and everything is working out fine. School is fine, i have it all planned out. Me and my boyfriend have jobs. Our parents support us when we need it but for the most part, we have our own money and know what is going to happen and how hard it will be, were ready. I just don't think this applies to every 16 year old

I agree with you! 👏🏻 I feel like girls now and days are So ready to grow up & once reality hits them they're ready to back out (for some NOT all)

@samanthamp, exactly!!!! I'm not trying to put them down , but seriously. I guarantee they'll wanna go to prom but realize that baby making was more important. it makes me almost puke thinking about it. :(

I'm 19 and pregnant I could never imagine being pregnant or wanting to get pregnant at 16 their still in highschool they'll wanna change that when it happens I love my baby and wouldn't change him for the world but I'm barley ready at 19 can't imagine what it'd be like at 16

NO 16 year old is ready to have a baby regardless if they say they are or not. I do not agree on them purposely getting pregnant. That's just silly to me! I had my first at 18, had a job, my own house with my bf who also had a good job , a car and everything my son needed bought by ourselves and still was not "ready". Regardless if you're financially prepared and "ready" I can guarantee you're not physically and emotionally "ready". Nothing can prepare you for what you will deal with. Just my opinion though.

Oh man 😩 my brother turns 15 this year and I couldn't imagine him even thinking about sex!! much less trying for kids!!!!!! At 16 I hadn't even lost my virginity yet 😵 much less considered having kids. ahh.

I agree with you 100%. NO 16 year old is ready for a child. At that point most are living with their parents. It's crazy that people are actually supporting this smh

If you're 16 im sorry but you're not "ready" for a baby. Sometimes things happen and if you're 16 and pregnant then no judgment but if you're actively trying to have a baby there is something wrong there.

Having a job and being financially "ready" is not the same as being emotionally ready. And at 16, sorry but you're not.

@augustbaby2016400, at 16 and labor laws , that means no over time, and 7.25. sorry but that's not even enough to feed a dog on. but managers at McDonald's make nice money lol.

Well some states make like 8-9 dollars minimum but still it enough and ther underage which means they can't work 40 hrs people are ridiculous
