It depends if your doctor thinks its medically necessary. I had an ultrasound at 12ish weeks then I had my gender scan at 21 weeks then another at 22 weeks because he didn't get good pictures of her spin during the first one then I had one Monday at 34 weeks because my doctor wasn't sure if my daughter was still breeched or not.

We had one at 34 then 37 but I think it was because my belly was measuring larger

I have no complications and I'm having another at 36. I think every Dr is different. can't hurt to ask!
