From having my children as a teen mom, I would never ever wish that or encourage any other teens to get pregnant even if it makes me sound like a hypocrite. Teen pregnancy/parent isn't easy, it isn't sunshine and rainbows, nor a walk in the park. You have to sacrifice basically everything to make sure that your child has what they need/want and more. You can't just pawn your child off on your parents when you want to go out or be a teenager. When you have a child, your no longer a teenager, your a mother that needs to do motherly things for your child. No teen is ready to be a parent no matter how much they think they are. If you have a job, car, not living at parents house, then go for it but if not then you aren't ready or shouldn't be trying. Just be a teenager and have fun, worry about only you. and yes I realize no matter how old anyone is they aren't ready to be parents, but at least those other women got to experience their lives, enjoy themselves and find who they really were before having children.

I got pregnant with my first senior year and had her after I graduated. it was rough and I didn't know how to do anything. I wouldn't change it for the world though. you either learn to grow up and be mommy or you dont

@2016momof2, I feel like its more difficult to be a parent when your a teen then when your an adult, just because teens want to have fun, worry free, you know? I got pregnant with my first at 14 and had him a month after I turned 15. I don't ever regret my children but I still have a hard time accepting the fact and get jealous of others because I didn't get to be a teenager and experience all those things that teens do. but you definitely either grow from it or you don't, my case it made me grow a lot.

Oh wow 14 is definitely young, so I understand missing out on fun things and what not. I mean you need some time to do you and if you awesome parents to help watch baby even so often that's ok.

@2016momof2, basically a baby still lol. but my mom wouldn't watch my son unless I was at school because she said her watching my son would only encourage me that its okay to have babies and not do what I have to for them, you know? but I do see a lot of teens just wanting to throw their baby on their parents so they can go have fun, I do agree with once in a while is okay but not all the time.

@2016momof2, I didn't graduate. she only watched him but I literally got no help for tests or homework from teachers or at home. I did get my GED and will finally be starting school for CNA. @vicky810 it definitely isn't! it isn't a game or who can dress their baby the cutest like think.
