Have any other TTCers or Mommies been diagnosed with PCOS?
If so what are the symptoms and what made you get checked for it? It runs in my family and I didn't have any noticeable symptoms of it until after I had my miscarriage (which now that I think about it may be the reason I miscarried.) I have my appointment to see whether or not my doctor thinks I have it on the 5th and would like some advice/input/ etc. Thank you!

weight gain. irregular periods. pain in lower stomach.

I have gained weight (30 lbs) but I was REALLY small in high school so don't know if that's a good or bad thing but I have trouble losing it, and have excess facial and body hair and really bad acne, irregular periods, etc.

I had a lot of lower stomach paid, ands irregular periods. I found out when I was 15 tho. I had a miscarriage in January and my doctor thinks my cysts caused it but she saw them on my ultrasound during my miscarriage.

I had pain in my lower stomach after/during sex they found it after I had a miscarriage

@ashgreen13617, I had cysts on my ovaries during my ultrasound in the ER while I was miscarrying but my doctor told me it wasn't anything to worry about.

my Dr told me I had a big one under the baby so it wasn't attached all the way

The first symptom I had of PCOS was irregular periods. It was never a problem until I got married and started TTC. After that we did metformin and clomid and neither were successful. It wasn't until I lost about 100lbs that I FINALLY, after 6 years, got pregnant. After losing the weight I didn't have to do fertility drugs, I just got pregnant naturally.
