So I've read that eating deli meats isn't good while pregnant because of listeria but I've also read a few things saying it was okay because the listeria is so low that it couldn't cause any harm. What's your opinions? I always crave turkey sandwiches.

I think occasionally is fine, you can even get the turkey up first.

I read that to and I had to break down and eat me a sandwich but I usually warm my bread up and meat in the oven just warm the meat a little and it should lower the risk of getting sick from listeria

I've read this too... I eat sandwiches almost everyday and have had no issues. I always buy freshly cut deli meat and make sure I don't let it get old. but that's just me!

this is my experience with it, always talk to your dr: I asked my Dr and he said he was supposed to tell me not to eat it but his wife was pregnant at the same time I was (4 weeks behind me) and she was eating turkey sandwiches all the time. so he told me to eat it in moderation..... if you are concerned you can always go to subway and have them toast it ☺

I don't eat them like all the time everyday, just something to snack on like maybe twice a week if even that. Really when I crave a sandwich which isn't much. @sarahdrew

but talk to your dr to be sure it's ok, some doctors don't want you to eat it period (my friend was told not to)

You need to warm it up before you eat it ALWAYS.
