TMI TMI TMI;;;

My periods are horrible since having my son. I don't get cramps anymore so I never know when its coming. Got out of bed today and bloop, blood running down my leg. Can they give you BC to help with this?!

Birth control can help depending on what kind. If you're soaking through pads within a short amount of time or passing large clots notify your doctor ASAP. If you're not soaking through pads within an hour or so or not passing clots call your doctor anyway so they can advise you. They may want to check you out just to be safe.

They might tell you that it's normal for the first few months with the implant for bleeding to be heavier while your body adjusts. I'm not too familiar with the implants but I think they'll try to play it off like that's normal (to bleed heavy) but if you're ever concerned feel free to call a doctor up. They get paid to help people. Hopefully your husband's insurance switches over soon. Birth controls are definitely not a one size fits all thing. If you're breastfeeding I hear the merina (spelling) won't mess with milk supply as much as other BC's, I think maybe the mini pill might be a safe bet for regulating the periods and making them lighter but since they have a lower dose of hormones it may still be possible to get pregnant again. I personally don't use birth control. I know that's stupid and irresponsible but I'm not a fan of the methods I have tried. But definitely research the other forms of bc and see what would work best for you.

the worst part is, IVE HAD THIS STUPID THING FOR 11 MONTHS! I've bleed for 9 months straight, stopped for a month and Now I'm back at it. I had the IUD before this and it got stuck in my cervix. Now I'm at a loss, we just got out of the Army so I've been toughing it out for my husbands insurance. should kick in this month. @kimberlyyyy
