I am just about done with getting yelled at by my SO. Yes I have a spending problem but I am still working on it. It doesn't just go away within a day or overnight like he thinks it will. I'm about to just either cut up my card or hide it to wear I can't find it so that way I don't go anywhere an can't spend anymore money. This is one of the reasons why I don't want to get married yet. I want to make sure my spending problem is under control an right now, its not because I'm still working on it.

Have you considered therapy? To see about a deeper cause for the spending? For me it was because I was unhappy in my current situation and had the trauma of losing a child so I filled my life with stuff.

I thought about it. But I want to see if I can do it myself without any type of help so I'm not using up gas in the vehicles. An plus, its kinda hard getting back an forth to places if 2 people work in the house an are the only 2 that drive. One working 1st-2nd shift an the other one not knowing what his schedule is because he doesn't even know

cut up credit cards, cancel them, let yourself have a certain amount of money to spend each week or each paycheck... credit debt is horrible, believe me

@dee937, here's the thing, I don't have any credit cards. All I have is wat he brings home every week an we have a shared bank account
