When do midwifes start checking to see if babies engaged?

28 weeks was when I was first checked I was 3/5 and stayed that until I went into labour.. they just feel how low the head is.. have they not checked you?? xxx

Nope, 36 weeks and still haven't been checked. Have an appointment tomorrow and was hoping they would check @cayleighnatasha xxx

that's really strange that they haven't felt the head it's when they measure you they then touch your belly to see the position then they would feel how low his head was xx

I didn't get checked until 32 ish weeks, at 36 weeks you should definately be getting checked!! xxx

Have her tomorrow so will see if she does, if not I'll be asking her to because I feel like I've been kicked in the crotch so he's obviously engaging! She's been useless so far! @bambi16 xx

my midwife is the same I'm 35 weeks and only had my bump measured once she's never checked if she's engaged luckily my growth scan showed she was fully engaged at 33 weeks the sonigrapher person said she was that low she looks like she's trying to escape xxx
