37 weeks today!! My doctor is sweeping my membranes today!! Hope it gets things rolling! 😄😍

What how u get them to do that?

@cheche27, my baby is on the big side. I've never gone into labor on my own with my other daughters and have had to be induced. She just asked if I wanted it done! I was like hell yes!! I was dilated 1 cm last Tuesday!!! Really hoping this will work. I've been trying everything from pressure points, sex, pumping, pineapple, walking up hills, squats, and Thursday I'm getting acupuncture. I don't want to end up having to get induced or cesarean.

@mamabee, did you have your membranes swept with your first? I'm trying to decide if it's worth the pain.. My OB said it only works in about 25% of ftm, but otherwise I'll have to be induced next week 😕

Yes! I did. It didn't put me into labor last time but I'm just trying everything possibly. I get really low blood pressure when I'm induced and it ends up being a long horrible labor. I don't remember it hurting to much getting my membranes sweeped but I'll let you know after today. 😉

@tiffany_sanft, are they planning on inducing you on your due date or letting you go over?

Okay, thanks! I'm due tomorrow and they're scheduling my induction for next week at 41 weeks.

But, I'm seeing my OB today ☺️
