I feel like shit for giving my son a pacifier. I wanted to at least wait a whole month if I did…

maybe he is just cluster feeding.

thats what I thought too. but when he eats and I take him off he will start crying and looking for my boob again. then I put him back on and he just sits there with it in his mouth until I move him a little bit to get him sucking and he'll start then stop right away. some days I know he's cluster feeding but other days he's just wanting to have it in his mouth. cause he isn't actually swallowing. @mrs.cravens

yeah my daughter did that to I ended up just letting her do it for a month because my doctor recommend not giver her a pacifier for the first 6 weeks because it will mess up her latch but she stopped pacifying by her self around a month and a half and I didn't have to give her a pacifier.

that's what I thought too but my doctor told me he would be fine and that's its okay to use one now. I'm hoping it doesn't change anything. he latched right away when he was born and never had a problem once so maybe it'll be okay. I just don't want him to get attached to a pacifier @mrs.cravens

yeah that was my worry to . but thankfully my daughter hates pacifiers lol sure he will do fine :)
