I don't know if any of you have the What to Expect app, but since I got this app I haven't been on there in a while. Mostly because in the different "boards" for each birth month it seems like there's nothing but judgmental, hateful people. I'm on the "May 2016" board and I just read a whole thread of a girl getting chewed the fuck up by women saying she shouldn't be a mother, that she deserves to go to hell, that she HAS to give her baby up or she is self centered and stupid, all because she is on WIC. Am I the only one that thinks it is INSANE for someone to bash another woman for needing to take advantage of that? Umm I'm gonna have to and I'm not ashamed. My SO got laid off from his job of 7 years two months after we found out I was pregnant. We did not plan for that to happen, but it did. We are not going to give our baby up because of a temporary setback. Smh that app is truly disappointing me 😞

I stay far away from those discussion boards, I have the app but I only read about the baby stuff. The "women" on there are ridiculous

This is the best app for discussions I've been on. I don't bother with the community on other apps. It's ridiculously terrible.

@killxj0y exactly. They shouldn't even call themselves women. More like immature children. It's horrendous the way they talk to other women. I saw that one post and people's replies to the poor girl for asking a damn question about WIC and I feel like I should just delete the app now. I'm disgusted

@liveitwithlove yep but according to women on that app if you have to be on WIC you should give your baby up or you're selfish and stupid 😒 I'm so livid just after reading some of the responses

Same here! I'm pretty new to it I only downloaded it a couple weeks ago but everyone here has been so supportive and nice I really feel like I won't get judged for anything I post. I guess some people have had bad experiences with drama and such but I personally haven't had bad experiences yet at all! @lanajay23

wow that's really rude! I don't plan on needing assistance because we are saving as much as we can and saving money on whatever we can but if something unexpected happened there's absolutely no shame in it at all. its assistance until you get back on your feet!

Haha same! That's what I've been doing recently then I decided to check out the May 2016 chat board to see if anyone has had their babies early and all I saw was hate! @harranmommy
