some babies can even be born with teeth. they can pop up any time, but some babies start the teething process way before the first tooth comes through(:

My son got his first tooth at 5 months old so I'd say around 4 months.

my daughter started teething around 2.5 months, but didn't cut a tooth until just before 5 months
