...signing adoption papers means you are their parent for life, not just until they're 18. my parents signed my papers 26 years ago.....my dad barely speaks to me because his wife doesn't like me and doesn't consider me his. my mom lets her husband bash me and then makes it my fault and has become increasingly distant. I have had one of those most depressing and stressful days already. I snapped today and broke down because I feel so alone. I have no one. both my parents have become distant since I turned 18. my biological family is non existent....my step families hate me....my in laws haven't spoken to me in 9 months.

I will NEVER do this to my kids. ever. I would never want them to feel the way I do. I have never been so hurt or depressed in my life.
