How early in advance did you send out your baby shower invitations? My shower is April 30th (well…

I sent them a month before . So people have time to request days off at work or buy the present .

mines the 23 and we are sending them by the 1st definitely tell your momma to get the ball rolling so people can save the date

I mean she did do a save the date like a month ago so people knew the date of the shower and could request off but hell she hasn't even booked the venue. I've asked her like 3 times in the past week what's going on and shes like "Jordan u do know this isn't free? u do know its $300 to book the place right? ill do it when I get the money" she acts like I'm annoying her so I don't even care no more 😢 I just really wanted one and could use the help with the stuff I could receive @hermommy

If I was you I would take charge of some things. .like the Facebook post at the end of this week would be a month til shower I would say something like invitations coming soon and so is my little man..hope to see everyone at the shower blah blah date.(registered here) ..as far as the invites the first and no later than the 15th of next month. .they need to know location and have registries posted. .later she waits the more people will give an excuse ..u can call around for locations and get all info for moms ..put fire under her butt lol

@jaycemommy have y'all maybe thought of picking a different place? Like a park somewhere that isn't that expensive😢 I'm sorry you think your annoying her I doubt you are, it's your shower I know personally I want to know with mine so I imagine it's the same with you.

may have to find a cheaper place as well..I am doing mine at a apartment rental place fits over 60 people only cost $100 and $200 deposit but they give the check back to u after you finish

I sent mine out 2 weeks ago and my shower is Saturday. I picked a park so we didn't have to spend a lot of money. I'm doing everything myself because my mom is a slacker and won't do anything til last minute

thanks, good suggestion...I'll put an update on the FB post. @maddiemommy thing is it is a park we're doing it at so idk why they're so expensive AND the deposit is nonrefundable 😐 I will try to look around for other places but I really was counting on her because I work m-f and get home so late once I'm home I'm exhausted. my godmom is helping also with catering and decorations but she lives in Texas so she can't help as far as the venue is concerned @hermommy

that's true. im counting on my mom as well my shower is over 300 miles away I saw she was slacking so I had to take over in certain places. .suppose to be your special day so if u have a vision I will continue to press it until things are happening u know

your right it's just hard for me to do that cause I don't like feeling like a bother or a nag and knowing my mom she if I keep bugging her she's liable to say F it and I have no shower fr and I don't have money to throw it myself so I need her @maddiemommy
