We got a free one from the police department for attending a class.

I got my infant seat on Craigslist cause we didn't want to spend over $500 for both a new infant seat and convertible car seat so we found one on Craigslist that was less than a year old and it's in perfect condition, I just have to order a new base for it. We took it to babies r us and had them check it over

You could check Craigslist but just make sure the seat isn't expired and if they don't have the manual for it either order it or download a pdf of it online :)
