When i was born the hospital offered to pierce baby girl's ears. Now they dont. I wanna get my girl's ears pierce while she is still small enough to where i can take care of them and know they'll heal. Cause everyone of my sisters decided to give my nieces the option to wait and they always took them out or got infected... And im not trying to pay multiple times just for 1 pair.
But my sisters and MIL get on my case about giving my daughter a chance to decide. But all my friends say for those who didnt get their ears done young. Say that they wished their parents did. So im torn... I dont see the harm cause its like caring for her umbilical cord.. One more thing to keep clean... Plus i think its cute to have earrings. And eventually you can change them for outfits and such.. Plus in my family we have a tradition that the parents get to go and buy the baby girls her first thing of (real) jewelry which usually a bracelet or earrings with her birthstone.. So i would like to do that.

I would do it! As far as the "choice" thing, if she doesn't like them when she's older, she can just take them out lol

I wouldn't care what they have to say about it! She is your daughter and you can make that decision if you want. This is kind of off subject but I think it is funny that my parents question WHY I would question not getting my son circumcised, when that is a HUGE decision, cutting off a part of his genitalia forever, and not letting him decide... but then people are like "wow you should let your child decide to pierce their ears or not" LOL that isn't even that big of a decision yet they wonder why I am so torn on such a BIG decision. Your daughter can totally take them out if she doesn't like them. I don't think she would be mad at you for making that decision when she can just take them out. But my son COULD forever be mad at me for cutting off a part of his penis. Can't take that one back! My baby's father doesn't understand my hesitation but I don't have a penis... how am I supposed to make a decision like that 😪😂😂😂 omg
