I got checked at 35 weeks

I got checked at 35 & every week after that

cervical checks aren't necessary and could slow labor or introduce bacteria. I would avoid them as long as possible 😉

My midwife won't do it until 37 weeks but I didn't see her at 37 so I have to wait until I'm 38 almost 39 weeks on the 28th 😒 in reality it's cool and fun to know if you're dilated or not but it doesn't really mean anything until your in labor. (Unless your body has "threatened" pre-term labor) With my first I was dilated to 3.5 for three weeks until I was induced at 41 weeks.
