question! so I'm on bed rest do to soft cervix and baby's head is down and she is ready to see this world BUT I have a family emergency four hours away of where we live my husband's grandpa is in the hospital and only has 48hrs left do you guys think it would be OK for me to go? I don't want to be the reason he doesn't get to say good bye :/ and he won't go with out me

I'm not a doctor it should be okay if you don't walk a lot you will be sitting for four hours just don't stand or walk to much

that's what I was thinking and thing is I been walking and driving just not for super long time and I been OK I'm just stuck

@mykelswifee2101, if you call the office they should connect you to the on call doctor. But since you won't be doing much I don't see why not. Just try not to stress

if you have your insurance card there a on call number you can call and they can tell you I'm sure it would be fine but I don't want you to go into labor it is best to call your doctor

call your doctor just to double check. but if you lay your seat back on the way to and back & rest while you are there shouldn't seem much of a problem? better safe than sorry though. .
