how many moms breastfeed while taking an antipsychotic med and what do you take? I'm currently on prozac but I go see a therapist/ psychiatrist Wednesday and I don't wanna be put on meds I gotta stop breastfeeding to take but prozac really doesn't do much for bipolar issues or my anxiety. it helps some but I still have bad moments and crying spells

I'm pretty sure there's got to be other safe meds to take. I am medicated for epilepsy, and I know a lot of epilepsy drugs double as antipsychotics, so I'm sure you and doc will figure something out so you can continue to breast feed :)

I hope so I can't even sit on the porch alone because if a car comes by I freak out and my mind assumes imma get shot or hit by the car and it gets bad. or I'll get a headache then go into a panic attack
