Work is definitely giving me the run around when it comes to my leave of absence. They tell me they can't accommodate me past 28 weeks, then I call the number they give me to another company that handles the LOA's and they tell me that unless there's complications, they can't put me on an extended leave. What to do?!

walmart did that to me when my Dr told them I could only work 4 hour shifts..they told me they couldn't but yet scheduled me 4 hours all the damn time.. but forced me to take leave unpaid...I just never went back after baby.. pissed me and my husband off so much

that's ridiculous @hayleynsmith3 I'm afraid I'll be forced to anyway or they'll walk me out the door. idk what's going to happen yet. I don't qualify for FMLA or maternity leave or any of that either. they're gonna have to figure something out, and soon. my last day is supposed to be April 6th.

that's so crappy. I hate employers.. im lucky this time... my job is only part time at a factory sorting parts for gm and they don't care when you work.. you can take weeks off an go back like nothing happened... and a lot of the men that work with me lift all my boxes for me even tho I tell them I can still do it on my own

sounds like a job I need, @hayleynsmith3 haha. that's so awesome. my job is a distribution center and I'm only allowed to lift up to 40 lbs. my doctor wrote a note in the beginning of my pregnancy saying I would be limited on bending and stooping. my work told me they can't accommodate although they could just have me clean or something. I only work 25 hrs a week! ugh.

that's crazy..i hope you get the real truth soon..it sucks so bad...
I work 28 a week...they have me run machines every now and then but soon I'm gunna have to tell them no on that part...baby is starting to get in the way

I can only imagine. I pick up pallets at my job to stack them if they're not too heavy and I can stack them without touching my belly. it's getting more difficult. and I need to get the truth out of them because this is driving me crazy. either they can accommodate me or they can't. they need to make up their mind! @hayleynsmith3 why do jobs have to be so complicated? haha
