any other ladies have to go for a nonstress test 2 times a week for their last 8 weeks of pregnancy?

I had to when I was pregnant with my daughter because my amniotic fluid was depleting and I had Pre-eclampsia. Think of it this way, you'll get extra ultrasounds! lol... Plus, if there's ever a problem, they'll catch it early.

but I'm wondering why I need to have it done? we were told at our Thursday appointment that at 32 weeks and until I deliver I'll need to go 2 days a week for them..but they never gave me a reason...I know I'm a bigger girl, I've only gainer 8 pounds...and every time I've had an ultrasound done (22,23,28 weeks) all has been good with our little girl...and the reasonings I read online for them are scary...

I had to also, I am type 1 diabetic. I think they have you do it if you are high risk...

from 36 to delivery my OB is having me do one a week...

I go once a week every week since 30 weeks
