An infant carrier is nice when they're newborns but once my daughter was 5 months she was super heavy in her infant car seat and we had to buy the graco 4ever because she was so heavy

I think a lot of people just don't want to spend money on an infant car seat because they're not useful for very long. Personally, I got my twins infant car seats but that was only because babies r us has a misprint in their catalog and I got $210 car seats for $69 dollars each.
