told my husband we need to get our sons Easter basket stuff ready and he asked why and says they never did them growing up because that's not what Easter is all about! 😣😣 He's right, it's not what it's all about but I am a sucker for tradition and I'll be dammed if I don't make it a celebration to remember every year

you can have it both ways. have an Easter basket and put items in it that have the true meaning of Easter and some fun things, as your child gets older and you talk about the true meanings of these hollidays they will understand the difference between famy tradition and your faith beliefs.

well that's what I do anyway. I find a way to incorporate Jesus into everything hahaha I am just sad for his childhood
