I was the exact same way but seeing the look on my husband's face when we found out we were having a boy and picturing a little boy running around and giggling and snuggling us made me realize I wouldn't want it any other way.

@mercyoftea, thanks for your honesty. I guess I'm being selfish because I already have a boy. This pregnancy has been so awful that if I have a girl I can be done having babies. I would have one boy and one girl😊

Yes, with my first born I wanted a girl so bad and swore up and down that it was. Of course I get the opposite but I'm truly blessed with my son. Hopefully this time around it will be a girl.

I actually felt the opposite. In the beginning I kept telling myself I don't care what I have. But then I found out I was having a boy and felt a little bit of disappointment. Guess I did care a little. Either way I'm happy that he's growing big and strong and I am completely on board with having a little boy. I think it's natural to feel a little disappointment though.

Thank you! I think everyone is praying for a little girl for me. My sons dad isn't in the picture. My husband adopted him. I don't want there to be competition between him and another boy. So I'm hoping for a girl😊

the whole time I was pregnant I thought I was having a boy. I was convinced. but I was wrong. it's okay to be alittle disappointed. but once your baby is here, it will all seem to make sense! you'll be happy with whatever you have

I had myself convinced that my second son was a girl. My pregnancy was so different with him than with his older brother. I found out at 14 weeks that he was a boy and I was a little shocked. I was never upset, and it was so great that I had just about everything I needed! This time around I am having a girl and I was almost hoping for another boy, since I know how to be a boy mom! I am excited to be having a girl though! I am just terrified that she will wind up just like me haha

I felt like that in the beginning n only had a girl name picked out. Now I'm comfortable with the thought of another boy n even have a name picked out. I will love him no less. Even though I really want a girl lol.

Not only did I feel that way but with my first at the ultrasound. My SO was so excited and i cried. I mean boo hoo crying. 😢😢😢. lol. But I'm so glad I had a boy now he'll be 16 in December and I'm glad i had my boy first. Such the protector of his little sisters and me. A different type of love.

I don't know what mine is yet, but ever since I was a kid I wanted a boy first to be the protector. Everyone thinks I'm having a girl and now I'm kinda used to the thought and I've come to the conclusion that I don't care what it is anymore. I will be happy with either 😀
