Can you have just a couple and then no more? I think I had a couple last night and got really nervous but then that was it. I thought maybe it was gas! It's been 10 years so I don't remember what it was like when it was starting lol

I have been, I had like 10 a few days ago over the course two days. Then didn't have another until now. I'm 1cm dilated last time the doctor checked Wednesday. So I'm pretty sure that can happen lol.

In the early stages of labor they can be irregular. Or it could be Braxton hicks @momagainjj82

@momagainjj82, mine aren't strong contractions though they are weak.

@cass_lynne, yes but these ones were slightly painful and I always hear the BH aren't really painful just tightening. I didn't get them with my son so I don't know. @emmasmomma16 mine def weren't too strong but they hurt which made me terrified for the real thing!!

Everyone experiences Braxton hicks differently. I certainly do. My Braxton hicks don't hurt at all, and the real ones I get cramping down low so I can tell the difference. Mine are pretty irregular too right now. But that's common in the early stage of labor. @momagainjj82

@cass_lynne, good to know! I wasn't nearly this anxious with my first! Now everyday I freak out over every little feeling I get!
