jealous of all the new mommies who have family to help or at least to come and visit... I've been home 8 days w LO and no one has even cared to check on us. especially my own mother who promised she'd be here the first few nights because " you are supposed to have family's help " she said. i am feeling so alone :(

Was in the same boat . However my friends came once in awhile . When I had my 2nd child the day I got home from hospital both my mother in law and mom left . And they weren't even there in hospital. Im like really wow .... It was such a hard labor and delivery as well I tore super bad and could hardly move for a few days and I had a 2 year old and new born . Then the next week my mom decided to throw a party at my house ( my family is all alcoholics , ) they all got drunk my sister starting fights than everyone left a huge mess for my husband and I to clean up . With my 3rd had nobody what so ever !!!!!! And my husband had no time off work . So I than had almost 3 year old a one year old and a newborn with no help . Our mother in law did watch the kids during the delivery then my daughter and I had to stay in hospital a few days ( she was a little premature) and she couldn't even watch the kids so my husband could come visit me . When I got home the house was trashed thanks to my mother in law .... Having people around isn't always the best
