So, im 37 weeks plus 3 days.. when i went into false labor Tuesday(15th) they said i was about 65% effaced and 3 cm dilated... i go on Tuesday to see my dr and she will tell me if ive dialated any more.. my baby shower is this weekend coming (26th) and i want to be able to hold out until at least the Monday (28th). my SO has been soooo wonderful, he's been cleaning, making supper, and makes sure i stay off my feet.... but i don't want to stay off my feet, i am feeling the stress of nesting like crazy!
although i wrote a lot about randomness lol, I would like to ask you mommys, if you were at 3- cm how long/ fast did it take to dilate to 4+cm? Also seeing as how the hospital didn't tell me to stop walking and what not would it be "safe" to continue walking/ nesting, without worrying about going into false labor again?

20 days to my due date and yesterday I was 1 cm dilated. I’m so ready to be a mama to my baby. But she’s so not wanting to come out. Anyone have tips, to get my baby out?
im so discouraged stayed in labor 48hours, stuck at 5 cm dilated , water didnt break so i have to stay at the hospital until i have her on my own or until my doctor induces me at 39 weeks and 3 days 😔
3 cm dilated gonna have me walk around for a few hours to see if i progress or loose more fluid then go from there. If i don't dilate more I'll be going home.

How can I dilate more? I have bad hip pain so don't want to be walking today.

I think at this point they aren't really concerned if you go into labour so they won't tell you not to do things that could help bring on labour, that being said I was 3 cm for about 2 weeks and nested every day (scrubbed the bathroom top to bottom 2 times a day, scrubbed the tile with a tooth brush and deep cleaned every part of my house repeatedly) and I was induced. it really all depends on when baby is ready to come.
