Is it possible to be too far dilated to get an epidural? How far is too far?

I think 5 or 6 centimeters

I really thought at my birthing class the lady said as long as you can sit up and stay still, it is never too late!

I got my epidural at 8 cm. and my son wasn't born for another 4.5 hours after than. It really depends on how fast you progress.

i could have still got one when i arrived at the hospital 8cm....just didnt because midwife told me if they broke my water he would come

I was 7cm and still got one it all depends on your doctor

my doctor told me it is never to late to get an epidural she said you can even get one when your ready to push ( which they don't recommend )

I got one at 9 cm. Only waited that long bc they couldn't get my iv started.
