I HATE doctors with a burning passion, if you're child is not seriously ill or dying they assume they are fine and send you home. My daughter has a bad cold and can barely breathe out of her nose, she is not okay. don't tell me there's no medicine for infants/babies because that is not true, I see them all the time. Going with my mother instincts and my mother's opinion and saying eff these doctors and their diagnosis and I'm treating my daughter before it gets worse since they obviously won't do anything.

I brought my baby to docs for that....I would get a humidifier.....my doc told me that and saline nose drops also another like children's Dimetapp but was only allowed to give her a very small amount but I never gave it to her. my 9 month old just got over not being able to breathe out of her nose I put humidifier in her room and she felt much better the next day.
