I was told by another mom that if you experience pain with it then that's not supposed to happen. I've never actually had a clue what they were until my temporary midwife was moving my belly around and actually gave me one and explained it. it was just hardness and tightness.

@jessica415, okay thanks! Cause she asked if they were painful and when I said no just tightness she said oh then they are bh so I just wanted other Mommy's thought and experience with bh cause I've never had pain with it lol

I love when doctors tell us "oh it'll feel like contractions"..... because FTM know what those feel like lol! She is right though when she says your whole belly tightens! That's pretty much the main indicator as to tell when you're having them :)

@jessica415, she said it'll feel like actual contractions but slightly less painful but it feels like slight pressure but mainly just tightness all over with no pain at all just slightly uncomfortable

Unless she is meaning pressure? I'm not sure - I've never really associated any pain with mine, just pressure and an uncomfortable feeling because it can get hard to breathe with all of the pressure. But then again, it can always feel different to everyone :)

@jessica415, okay just checking cause my Ob constantly asks if I have bh and when I tell her I'm not sure she always tells me oh you'll know it'll be painful. So I was confused of why I got random full belly tightness with no pain

Yes! Mine are never painful, just some pressure!
