are health visitors supposed to come out to you before you've had the baby or just after?!

I thought it was just after but I've seen a few people on here saying they've had visits before they've had the baby!xx

My midwife is useless she doesn't tell me anything!!

I've never had a health visitor come whilst pregnant only about 2 weeks after.

Mine came out yesterday for the first time but now I don't see her until baby is here. Xx

Given my living arrangements i assumed id of seen her by now but nevermind!

I wouldn't worry. They're mostly irritating and full of bullshit advice 😬

I got a letter saying she was coming out between weeks 16 and 25 but came out this week and I'm 26 weeks. She only really gave me advice on classes to take and also a virtual tour of the hospital I'll be going to. @amibeston123 xx

i needed to see her before hand because shes apparently able to help me move out of where i live, considering my midwife knows my situation i thought id of heard from a health visitor already! Nevermind x

they are meant to do an ante-natal appointment around 34 to 36 weeks in your home.

I had my visit last week and to be honest she was great xx much better than my midwife as well we had a really good chat about my concerns etc xx she did say she wanted see my Moses basket and where he would be sleeping but she saw how organised I was already and said she will look next time xx
