I feel like such a failure as a mom. my baby won't eat he's 3 days old. I try to wake him up and nothing works I put the bottle in his mouth and he just won't suck he's only had 3 wet diapers today and he's supposed to be having 7-8 peed diapers. Did anyone else go thru this I really need someone to tell me they did and everything turned out okay

If he's not eating I'd suggest taking him to the doctor just to be sure. Have you called your doctor yet?

@family_first01, you got this mama. Parenting is all trial and error. We are all trying to make the right choices and we are all feeling like failures at some times. But we pick up the pieces and keep going. It will get easier. You will figure your baby out, you got this. Keep trying and just find comfort that you will find out the reason tomorrow❤️ hug*

Babies aren't born hungry. For the first few days it's expected that they eat very little, as they still have amniotic fluid in their system. It is important to keep feeding them so they become efficient eaters. For breastfeeding moms it's especially important to keep feeding to ensure milk supply comes in. I'm sure you'll notice your baby is a better eater within the next couple of days.
