I went to the emergency room when I was pregnant cuz my daughter wasn't moving. I have been billed for almost $2,000 for two visits. I have medicaid, should they be the ones who pay it??

If you had Medicaid during those dates of service than yes Medicaid would pay for it but that hospital has to accept Medicaid in order for them to bill Medicaid. I work for medicaid

They billed me for a while too for the delivery and everything but it just takes a while for the Medicaid to pay it I guess. Eventually they stopped billing and the Medicaid covered everything I wouldn't worry but you could always call and ask to be sure

@inkedmomma, well if you didn't have active Medicaid for pregnant woman at the time of your hospital visit than you will get billed but if you had active Medicaid for pregnant woman during the time of your hospital visit than you'll be fine
