they go through cycles so yes it can be normal. with that being said make sure you are feeling the baby. try eating something sweet. laying om your side. drink cold water. ect. trust your instincts. movement is important. they will have less active days than others. but you still want to be sure you do feel movement.

yes i understand. i lost a baby this way. so i completely understand you are concerned. But it isnt that common. just be aware of yourself. when in doubt just get checked out. cant be to careful. as you get further along it will be easier and easier to tell when kicks are coming. the heartbeat monitors can be great. but they are not high quality and sometimes it can be hard to find the heartbeat. which in turns is even scarier. may help relax you. but may cause panic. always trust your gut. and lie down for a few mins still if you cant remember when you last felt movement. im sure you and baby will be just fine. @itsababyboy16

@itsababyboy16, angel baby mommies! i had to deliver after i found out at 27 weeks. hardest thing i have ever experienced. that was almost 12 years ago and i will never forget any of it. still feels so raw. with that being pregnant of course amplifies everything. i am prayimg for you and your little one. God bless you!

Yes it's normal because I started feeling the same way but I went to my appointment and they doctor said it's completely normal till around 26 weeks you will feel baby move wayyyy more than 20 weeks because I'm 23 weeks and I hardly feel him move but every time I get an ultrasound I see him active soo much so it's normal no worries
