The entire process was: I was admitted into the hospital due to preeclampsia at 40+2; they started pitocin and inserted a balloon catheter to open my cervix(I wasn't dilated at all); and they let everything else happen naturally.
It was pretty easy to me. They started pitocin around 11 am and I slept on and off. By around 4 pm, I was 7 cm and stayed at 7 until around 1 am, when my water broke. I had my daughter at 4:03 am. The contractions weren't bad either.
