I've got a question?
I don't have a primary care dr nor an ob/gyn. I know I know, I'm 21 I should definitely take care of myself better, but I don't have insurance right now so that's my excuse. Anyways, I went to an early pregnancy clinic to confirm my first pregnancy and to get my first ultrasound done with them but bc I miscarried 2 weeks after the ultrasound, I never did get around to getting a doctor or whatever.
This time around I wanna be more proactive and make sure I'm getting the care I need. That being said, I went the same route this time around. Went to an early clinic for confirmation and I go back in 3 weeks to get an ultrasound done.
My question is, what do I do now? Like, I'm really interested in going with a midwife/birthing center but you'd have to be "low risk" and I don't know if I am? I'm absolutely clueless right now and it's a bit overwhelming if I must admit.

First , apply for pregnancy Medicaid. Second you need to a obgyn to make sure your ok and the baby is good . And then from there determine whether or not to go to a midwife or birthing center

Okay but I read that some doctors won't do certain things until 8-10 weeks so does that mean they won't do any lab work before then to check my hormone levels or does that mean they just won't do any sonograms until then? @teenmomoftwo

apply for medicade first. my friend just applied for it and shes about 6mnts pregnant and took about a month for her to finally get her medicade card or whatever they send u. good luck!!!!!

@canaryv, do you have a omega obgyn near you because that ob site will take care of you

There's a omega obgyn in Grand Prairie . They will check you and make sure everything is ok and since your technically high risk they have to check you for everything.
