why do people make such a big deal when you say you wana do a natural birth?? my doc was like yeah…

I wanted to do natural too and I went all the way to 7 centimeter dialated and ended up getting the epidural but now my tail bone hurts like hell every few hours go with your gut and what's gonna be best for you and your body

do what feels right my sil has three natural births one at hospital and Two at home.

I jus don't like when pple make that face like yeah right u can't do it jus bc they couldn't do it. everyone is different and has a different pain tolerance. like I totally get that this is gonna hurt more than period cramps but when I got my period, I had severe cramps and I was stubborn and wouldn't take nothing for it bc I didn't like taking meds so i toughed it out @cherisenicole

You are me both and people said the same thing to me I was in labor all day and it took 15 minutes to get him out but I can honestly say at the moment the epidural helped a lot but now I regret it because my tail bone has me in pain all the time

That's pretty messed up that your doctor reacted that way, they should support your decision

she's claiming that the epidural is the safest route cuz its either that option or an IV of pain medication and she recommends the epidural @cherisenicole

I had mine natural and I'm so happy. there are times you want to cave but stay strong. I'm so glad I never did!

OMG SAME HERE!!!!! 😡 now I'm preparing myself in every way to prove to that bitch I can do it alllll natural and no expensive classes needed ....I can study online for free....my OB said I would need an epidural and I would need to be induced because i have a thick cervix but I'm walking everyday and doing w.e I can to soften my cervix so I'm ready....smh not about to ruin my birth experience unless of course it's a medical emergency

girl go natural I got an epidural with my second and this guy literally poked me like 20 times because he couldn't find the right spot we were their for like 45 min

I'm gonna try really hard to go natural. I hope my pain tolerance is as high as I think it is. @theirmommy_2

I'm having the same issue. I don't get numbed for getting cavities filled and I have a bunch of tattoos. I'm pretty sure I can handle this. My sister in law is the nurse practitioner at my OBs office. When she hears me say that I don't want the epidural she says "you say that now". I tell her to let me know at my last chance and I'll decide then but as of now I'll go without. And I don't want to have anymore back issues than I already have. I'm just worried about back labor. I hear it's really bad. I always got a lot of back pain when I would get my period and I would get really bad cramps and not take anything.

@valrocks, I have a bad back as well but my doc is like literally insisting that I get the epidural. I have a feeling I might fight thru the contractions jus bc I know how stubborn I am
