So i go to my 30 week apt yesterday. It was scheduled at 3:45 i get off work at 3 so i ended up getting there about 20 minutes early which was fine with me. i get to the front desk and the receptionist who is kind of rude says my midwifes 2:45 patient was still in the waiting room so it would be a while and to let them know if i needed anything. so i had to sit there for almost an hour having to pee because whoever built the building had the bright idea to not put bathrooms in the waiting area where all the pregnant women sit lol finally they call me back and check my vitals and somehow i gained 9 pounds in 2 weeks???? And they use a house scale not one you normally see in a docs office. i told the nurse that the scale needs to be callabrated because i clean an actual doctors office and i checked my weight on their doctors scale just that morning and it said i weighed 6 pounds less than that one? and she just walked out lol Then a new midwife who ive never met comes in and has a student with her and the midwife sits in the corner and has the student answer all my questions and pretty much had her run my apt. and the girl was rushing me. Ok i have nothing against students observing but to actually run my apt. when im paying for my midwife to give me answers kind of pissed me off. And the whole time the girl kept looking at the MW like she didnt know what she was doing and needed help and the MW wouldnt say anything or hardly answer my questions. i want a professionals advice not a students that is what i pay for 😒. Im glad i can request which midwife i want i just hope my favorite one is available when i go into labor cuz this MW seemed like she would be one to be rude during delivery. sorry this is so long just didnt know if anyone can relate.
