I was thinking last night that it's about to be tornado season here. it's gets so crazy here with them and we live in a mobile home. Last year I was able to tough one out here that was about a half a mile or so away while my bf was at work but this year I just can't cause I'm pregnant!! But you also can't run from tornadoes that's even worse especially at night. So I'm like dreading the next few months 😣

@babymay2016, no we just live on 3 acres about 10 miles or so outside of town ! lol I wish somebody did have a random storm shelter we could get in though!! the closest neighbor who has one is about 3 or 4 miles away

Wow that is really scary 😔 I would definitely get in touch with whoever is the nearest person and tell them you're pregnant and ask if you can come there if there is a tornado. That would really freak me out! We didn't have a car but had a baby in the house and made a plan with the neighbor for them to drive us to the tornado shelter if it ever got really bad.

it just sucks because most of them happen at night ! last year I tried to outrun one and head to my aunts house about 5 miles away cause she lives in an actual house and it was so dark outside and I about got blown of the road I had to turn back around and go home lol I didn't mind when it was just me and my dogs but now there's a baby involved and it's so freaky @babymay2016

Oh yeah I totally understand that. That's why I would make a plan with someone and have them expect you to come there in case of emergency. Five miles is definitely too far away. It happens so quickly.
