My father hated my boyfriend befote he was anywhere near being my husband. Literally.. 3 years ago.. me and my husband fought a lot, we split, I chased after him, he took me back, we fought again, he cheated, we split, broke up, he came back, and two more times shit like that happend. Guess where I am now? Laying in bed in our own home married to him, we are in a good relationship, 9 weeks from having his child, and why? We made it work. We went through shit. Every relationship does. No ones is perfect and we got through our problems and issues by realizing we loved eachother.
It sucks to be young and in a relationship because men dont really care to settle down till like 25. Though with consistancy, and work, you guys can keep it going.
i understand this all too well. I got pregnant when I was 17 (thank goodness I was so close to graduating). Of course, all parents are going to want you to live your life and figure out the ups and downs of finances, get into a house of your own and have a stable degree based job before you choose to settle down in life, but sometimes it doesn't happen that way. It's definitely not easy working a full time job, raising a baby and going to college, but if that's the path you are choosing for yourself, then your dad needs to accept it. Now, if neither one of you can support the baby monetarily and raise it as a family, then your dad may be mad about that and I can understand that (but I don't wish to make you go into detail). All I know is god made it happen for you now, so being a teenager is out of the picture
