so me and my boyfriend want to buy a car, we found a perfect 2007 Nissan altima for only $2000 no problems. we have to pay some fines but I feel like this car is a steal..I want it NOW before it's gone. how bad would it be to keep it in my yard with a car cover over it only for like 3-4 days til we get tags for it????

if there aren't any plates on it to begin with it make sure you run a vin check and they give you all the paperwork. living in VA you live in a commonwealth.. they will be finicky. I'd keep it in the driveway backed backward.. car covet optional, I'm sure police have bigger fish to fry lol

as long as you have the title you're fine with the police especially if you're not driving it and it's just parked.
