has anyone used nuvaring? looking to get on b.c. after this pregnancy. pills don't do well with me in end up bleeding to much
The Skyla is an IUD. So like an insert. I have a blood disorder that prevents be from being able to take any birth control with estrogen in it, which is majority of the ones out there such as the shot and the normal "pill". Skyla is one of the few that does not contain estrogen in it, and is considered 99% effective and lasts for 3 years. I still have to go talk to my doctor about it to learn more about it but so far it's the one that has stuck out & appealed most to me. @my3sons
I would talk to your doctor about it. There's a certain body type that it's more effective for. I got pregnant on NuvaRing, and I looked it up and it's pretty notorious for that if you don't meet certain things dead on
I hated it. You have to get it up inbetween your pelvic bone and uterus and it always fell out and I felt like I had a "ready to come out" tampon in. Yuck would never do it again!
the nuvaring sucked for me, and my SO felt it when we were intimate.
