How are you suppose to know if your membrane sweep is going to work lol.... like should it of worked a couple of hours after it was done or can it take some time ?

With some women it works within a couple hours but since my midwife wasnt able to do a full sweep. I didn't start labor until 10pm and i had it done at about 9am.

My OB did a sweep every week after 37wks with my son and it didn't help at all /: so it really isn't an exact science sadly

mine never did anything for me. they swept mine at 38-39 weeks and nothing happened

it can take some time, most women usually contract shortly after though
