I felt only occasional flutters at about 17 weeks, not really defined kicks until maybe 23 weeks or so

I didn't feel my babe move at all til almost 18 weeks. You won't feel consistent movements for another few weeks. And the baby is so small at 17 weeks they could be facing your spine and that could be why you're not feeling anything

They normally don't get concerned about kick counts until midway through.. Like 24 weeks or something.

I don't think I really felt my son move much till a little later on
